Kandinsky drawing, filmed in 1926 (!!!)
I'm having a major art geek-out here - how awesome is that?!
That's just amazing; it looks so easy, so playful, and yet...
Kandinsky, Marc and Chagall are my favourite modern artists. But I also have a weak spot for Paula Modersohn-Becker; her 1906 self-portrait was the first painting I ever had to "analyse" for art class. I can't remember the names or the faces of the kids I went to school with, but I still remember most of the paintings we discussed in art class. The memory is a strange thing...
