Screencaps: Hatfields & McCoys, Part 1, Damian O’Hare as Ellison Hatfield

May 30, 2012 00:07

Every bullied child’s dream dad...*

... and while not a dream-uncle, "Devil" Anse Hatfield is also on junior's side. Not that this will do him much good; by the golden rules of history and television, people who like bunny rabbits die a terrible death.

*screw the whole "let's talk about it" crap; my bullying at school wasn't nipped in the bud by any teacher's intervention (they couldn't have cared less), but by a visit from my brother, who had a short "conversation" with the main bully.

Enjoy it while he’s still alive… screencaps of Damian as Ellison Hatfield. He and “Cotton Top” Mounts (how sweet is Noel Fisher… aww!) are the only likeable character of the lot so far, but back then, “being likeable” was probably not that high on anybody’s list of priorities . The story is fascinating and the acting solid. Game of Thrones with guns.

Don’t miss part 2 tonight, on History Channel!

Gingerphobes may wish to steer clear of my DW/LJ this week, as it's heavy on the redheaded side. Not only because of "Hatfields & McCoys", but also because I finally managed to get a hold of the prehistoric "Holby City" episode from 2004. Not only will I bring screencaps, but also a rant.
