MICHELE BACHMANN BECOMES A SWISS CITIZEN There is no God.
"My husband is a 100 percent Swiss, and his parents were raised in Switzerland, they were married there, they came to the United States, they bought a farm in Wisconsin and raised their three sons there,” Bachmann said in the interview."
Yes, and we'd all be so much happier if you lot had stayed there!
When a reporter reminds her that she is now eligible to run for office in Switzerland, she laughed, saying the the competition would be very stiff “because they are very good,” referring to the parliamentarians with her.
A chair would be better than you, at least it has legs to stand on.
Asked what she likes about the European nation, Bachmann said it’s “tough not to find a place to like in Switzerland,” citing the country’s beauty and famous chocolates.
Sure. I'm sure it's all about our mountains and chocolate, not about banks and low taxes.
I'm furious. We have immigrants who have been living here all their lives, and still didn't get the Swiss passport for the most stupid reasons, same for their children who were born here, and this bigotted twit gets it served on a silver platter because her husbands parents lived here?! Fuck that!
This comment says it all:
We were the first to give free heroin to addicts 18 yrs. ago (it worked: less druggies, almost no drug related crime). We speak four languages from four different cultures, and no big problems. We don't have problems with gays and lesbians. We haven't been in any wars (well, that's down to luck) for more than 150 years. Freedom of worship is in the constitution, and enforced. Separation of state and religion is complete: No non-science in our schools. We have mandatory healthcare for everyone, and at the highest standards.
We also have thorough sex ed at school and therefore one of the lowest rates in teen-pregnancies and abortions (which are legal). Oh, and 22% of the people living here are immigrants:
WELCOME TO HELL, MICHELE!
