Black week
First an amok driver, now this horrible bus crash in Le Valais last night. This is a black week, probably the darkest in modern history of our country.
A bus with school kids from Belgium and the Netherlands was on its way back home from a skiing camp in Val d'Anniviers when the driver lost control and the bus crashed in a tunnel near Sierre. 22 children and six adults died. I can't even begin to imagine how absolutely devastated parents and relatives must be. How can anybody help them? There's nothing anybody could say to them.
The whole country is in shock.
