The Gillington Formula (also known as "Mathematics and Historical Blunders") has now been updated and includes all four movies. Wrong Kings, missing Queens, anachronistic uniforms and ignored earthquakes - it's all there!

I love the busy Molly icon always

this made me smile eben though I barely know who most of the characters are - except Norrington of course ( well I am a friend of volgivagant so there would be no way no to have awareness of the lovely Norrington

and I like the gratuitous mention of Nelson- I had been consulting that excellent book British Admirals of the Napoleonic Wars earlier today and always call that my " Not- Nelson handbook" .

Sometime we could hold a contest for " most gratuitous entry on Nelson " from books on the period !

I love my mood theme; say_aye made it for me years ago as a birthday present, and it shows li'l Norrington (that's the one doing the busy running!) and li'l Gillette. :)

You can't escape Nelson. It's terrible. It's like every naval historian feels s/he has to mention him at least twice on every page. "Collingwood - Nelson's Own Hero"... heh!

I read one "biography" (note " ") about Collingwood which I called "People who knew Nelson and Collingwood", because that was basically the content.
