Person on the phone: "Meh. This days continues to be bad."
Me: "One of those days?"
Person on the phone: "Yes. First I had to drink my coffee without milk because I forgot to go shopping, and then I couldn't brush my teeth because my toothbrush ran out of batteries."
Me: *laughs, thinks it was a joke*
Person on the phone: "I don't see what's so funny about that. Would you like to go to work with unbrushed teeth?"
... ehr, no? Because I'd use the electric toothbrush like a plain old normal one if the batteries ran out? What? Quoi? Huh?
