DAY 4: "Tell us about one of your first stories/characters!"
I began to write (heh!) when I was 5 or 6 years old. Very short stories with obscure plots, usually featuring a dog or my favourite toys: donkey "Donkey", mouse "Mousie", Niki Tiki (a hedgehog) and "Hopsasa". The latter was a very strange cuddly toy with a musical box that my aunt had sewn for me. I have no idea why I called him "Hopsasa". Personally, I blame it on an overdose of Ovaltine on my part.
Here's one of those stories - imagine writing in capital letters and dubious illustrations!
Hopsasa and Mousie go to a shoe shop.
Hopsasa wants red shoes.
They don't have red shoes.
Donkey gives Hopsasa a balloon.
Donkey gives Mousie candy.
Hopsasa drives Mousie home on his tricycle.
The end.
Looks like my plots haven't changed much...
