I Got an A!
Not only that, my professor called my paper "very sophisticated, eloquently articulated, and engagingly compelling."
The geek culture presentation went very well, the only problem being that I was a little short on time, so I had to go through it at breakneck speed, and there wasn't any time afterward for Q&A. :( But everyone seemed to enjoy it. I'll be posting the slides here someday relatively soon (ie, before next semester ends).
