How did I miss this? I swear some days the Chlollie comm moves as slow as a turtle and other days it flies by so fast I can't keep up in a day. :P Apologies. I love this fic. I loved the premise and family fics always grab me.

The way you described the clock, made me think both hidden Arrow Room, but also whether Oliver had rebuilt Swann's puzzle clock from the monestary as tribute to his parents work with Veritas. :D And that maybe the symbols she was reading were either latin or kryptonian. :D I know worlds apart but I think you were deliberately vague.

I love the curiousity and excited, inquistive vibe you've given her. Chloe has lost so much over the years and I think a lot of that passion and fire has been extinguished too, years of disillusioned dreams and sacrifice. It's nice to see that side of her again.

I just about LOL when she strolled up to the Daily Planet demanding to speak with herself, not thinking about the possible consequences of past and present colliding. I think believing if anyone could help her out of a jam or could track down answers, I would be well herself! Great!

“I’m sorry, I mean, I find out that I somehow got transported to the future,
what was I supposed to do? Stay still?” Chloe's talking a mile a minute, she's animated, excitable and really, not the least bit apologetic it's all just common courtesy to her. Thank goodness Clark's an older Clark and knows how to handle overly curious, too smart for their own good Sullivan-Lane's by now. :D

“Chloe...” the warning tone from Clark would’ve been effective, had it not been for the small smile that he tried to hide.

Aww he can't resist her. And how could anyone, she's just so loveable. And so innnocent and full of life. They all must miss her terribly. Not just Connor and Oliver... I love that Lois has clued in and is now on the hunt. None of the men are going to escape now, and if anyone's going to be pulling for Chloe to take a few pointers back to the past to change the future, it will be Lois.

You've given us a little hint that Clark blames himself for what happened to Chloe, but the fact that Oliver or Lois doesn't seem to blame him, makes me think this is Clark just being Clark. Curious for a little more info on that. I'm sure it'll come. :)
