Blue: Write a ficlet inspired by the word blue.
He knew he shouldn't, but he needed some time to himself. Laying back in the grass, about a mile outside of town he just watched the clouds drift by in the sky. Iolaus was off having fun in the town, probably convincing one of the ladies that he was the best thing on two legs.
Right now though, he wasn't going to think about that. Or anything else for that matter. Today he was just going to lay back and enjoy the blue sky, the clouds and just being on his own. He couldn't remember the last time he'd done something like this. Just taken a day for himself to do nothing more than just relax. Probably before the whole ring thing.
Sending a prayer to Apollo thanking him for the beautiful sun and asking that it not harm him this day.
Smacking himself upside the head, Joxer told himself off, "No thinking about the bad stuff. Only good!" and then he laughed. Okay, so he was going a bit nuts, talking to himself, which of course made him laugh some more. Most people thought he was nuts already. Iolaus was the only one who really thought differently.
Nope, today was about watching the blue sky, maybe taking a long nap in the sun and hopefully not get a sunburn.
