I just called Time Warner, when I went to turn on the noon news and it wasn't there.

Apparently, WKTV is having problems with their signal and Time Warner is switching to WBGH until the problem is fixed. It's not a permanent change.

The operator sounded like he'd gotten this phone call a lot.

Time Warner has suddenly -- and without warning -- changed our NBC affiliate.

I noticed this last night when I went to watch the 11 p.m. news, and it wasn't there!Now, instead of WKTV from Utica, we've got WBGH from Binghamton. WBGH doesn't do 11 p.m. broadcasts -- at least not on Saturdays and Sundays ( Read more... )

I don't particularly care for any of the people who have announced so far. Maybe Seward will run. I don't mind Jim that much.
