So yeah, 21 in the house. Er, I guess that's not something to be proud of. 21 and still in .. the house... D'ah well. Can't win 'em all. So Pistons, Wings, and Tigers won. And Lions made a cool draft move. Let's hear it for Detroit sports today. or yesterday. Saw Lewis Black on Thursday w/ my Kzoo buddy Lisa. That guy should just have a tv channel all to himself. Yeah. That was fun. Moved back on Friday. 1.5 hours to pack stuff into the car. EVERYTHING FIT in one trip. McCon, I have some of your stuff. A towel, shirt, floor matt, and somethin' else got left behind, but meh, I'm over it. So yeah, got back around 5 30 on friday. Unpacked a bit. Still have stuff left. But played hockey. I went runnin' 3 times this past week to get into some sort of shape again. Pretty far, pretty fast, nonstop. I thought I was good. Played hockey and died in under 20 min. I'm a mess.
The next day: Children of Bodom and Evergrey opened for Iced Earth (whose new singer is Judas Priest's old singer.) IE kinda smelled and played way too long. But wow, hats off to Bodom. Evergrey is also top 15 all time favorites. What a sweet show. Even talked to Alexi Laiho after. What a pimp. Got a birthday Bodom shirt which will do the following: make me play guitar even better (I know, I was shocked too), and kill all that look at me funny. So a good buy. On the downside, the ringing, oh the ringing. I wonder if I'll have my hearing beyond the age of 25. Find a bookie and place bets. Oh yeah, so unfortunately, after In Flames in like 8 days, that'll be the last concert I go to :'( I know, I said that like 5 months ago. But if music's my passion, and I go deaf, I'll cry for the rest of my life (it's cool though, 'cause I won't have to put up w/ myself.) Or maybe I'll just paint.
Hmmm, had some fairly profound comment to make when I was readin' through some of your journals, but as it's almost 5 in the morning, and I'm an idiot to begin with, I forgot. Somethin' about how I live in a stable bubble and if I ever have to go through what you guys deal with, I'd crack like an egg and be screwed.
Evanescence is still amazing. Wish they'd do new stuff. The closest to that end is in Seether's Broken, w/ Amy Lee. It's like a rainbow crapped a brain in my koala bear. And by that, I mean totally sweet.
Ang and Kim, we need to hang out soon. I'll call and this'll be arranged.
Alright, as best described by one who too few know (as the whole world should), pillows need to be eating my face now.
~That officially adult guy... Weird.
PS- Someone drink on my behalf. I have too many plans and I'm too lazy. They conflict, but screw you.
Sunday around 4 30 - Hockey at the park, followed by Punisher
Monday at 4 at Kensington - Disc golf.
