Nictitating membrane-less kitty

 The Slinky Beast managed somehow last to tear her right inner eyelid to shreds. She came in on Sunday night with her eye a total mess. Her eye itself is fine and there wasn't a scratch anywhere else on her,  but there just wasn't anything to save on her nictitating membrane. The vet removed it on Monday. The result is wonderful. She isn't in any discomfort, although she tells us loudly and often what a torture it is for her to be inside when there are little tasty animals outside. She's done with her antibiotic ointment on Tuesday and can go out then. I'm wondering if she will ever open her right eye as wide as her left, but as long as everything works reasonably well....
