Life is great!
Hey all, just thought I'd write some words...
The newly crowned Amy Ives (the other other AI to the bball fans) went out and bought a bed on Saturday. This wasn't just any bed however, this was a motherfucking King-size bed! Oh man. It doesn't get delivered for another week, but you should see how pathetic our old mattress on the floor looks. Also, it turns out that pregnant ladies really don't like having to get up from such a low-to-the-ground thing every hour cause they pee so much.
Lately the other other AI and I have been listening the hell out of the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah album. It's about as much Interpol with a little Magnetic Fields thrown in as the Arcade Fire is Interpol with some Bright Eyes marching songs thrown in. The best part is that in the last song, the mostly difficult to understand singer (Alec), sings Child Star about 32 times in a row (for at least a minute). That is some rock solid repetition. Good stuff for the rock'n'roll fans!
And the second season of Battlestar Galactica has begun and again reminding the world how shitty most other sci-fi shows are.
And a huge thanks to all those who came to the wedding. That was an amazingly special day.
The current plan is for Ian, Adam and I to watch ALL the Star Wars movies on Thursday. I'll keep you posted on how that goes. Over fourteen hours of some of the worst dialog ever committed to film, I have a feeling my brain might melt.
Lastly, I listened to A Grand Don't Come For Free three times over while playing Paper Mario last night and I think I now know what personal bliss is.
