Alright. The men in my family have this curse: We are not allowed to spend money on ourselves for non-essential items. Let me explain. My father purchases a driveway. Next day. Water pump goes out, well stops working, and various other crap - which adds up to around the same amount as the driveway itself. I purchase a
Wacom Tablet (that one's cooler than mine but, mine's old). And, I find out the transmission is going on my car. I purchase Adobe CS and my financial backer while at
SCAD stops backing me (long story). Buy my first "real" 35mm camera, have some problem with the axle on my car. There was the "Psycho Trip to Savannah" (another long story). And, many other examples. Anyway you get the idea I'm sure.
The point. I bought a new camera today. I figured technology has got to a justifiable point. It's a Canon Rebel XT Digital. It's nice. I'm very enthused. Now, I wasn't worried about the curse until Ben said something. Now this kit cost a lot and now I'm worried. So, here's what I need from all of you. Good vibes, wishful/hopeful thoughts, prayers (whatever you do). Call your family, friends, neighbors, I don't care who. Hopefully this time I can be the curse by good vibes. That's not too painful I hope.
::Off to play with new toy::
