The recent beginnings
I saw batman begins today. It was a pretty decent movie. I don't think christian blae makes a very good batman, but it was decent all together. Everytime I see him in a movie I can't help but think of his role in Equalibrium. I guess it's just a hex I have for his character. I saw a preview for a movie called brave new world. It's the live action pocohontas movie. It looks utterly stupid, and stars colin farrel. He doesn't belong in that movie as John Smith. I think Owen Wilson would be a better John Smith... but that's just me. Plus is stars Christain Bale, but in the whole montage he appeared only once. But anyway on with the Batman movie:
My main gripes are that the fight scenes had some of the shoddiest angles I've ever seen. It was like the camra guy was the one getting his ass kicked. There's a prison fight scene where Bruce is fighting a bunch of prisoners in the mud, and it's to the point where you can't pick him out of the rest. Also it was entirely too long in the back story section. It dragged the movie WAY out. Raza is not a villian i cared to EVER see from the Batman pages, and the scarecrow, though a cool idea, was entirely lame and pointless in the film. There were some snappy lines though and it told the back story well. BUT the end made me want to just laugh. It seems like Bruce will get his childhood sweetheart when they kiss at the end, but then she just plays him. It's really sickening. I kinda wanted to punch Katie Holmes for even takin on that role. So horrible. But the movie had it's high points.
After the movie was taco bell, which I'm still paying for in ways I don't want to discuss. Then I played some b-ball with Matt and John. It hasn't been a bad day today. at least i was able to get out of my house today. That was a plesant change of scenery. I also picked up an apartment guide. Mostly becuase of wishful thinking. There's no harm in dreaming... Maybe one day I will get out of here and be on my own. That will be ther day. Let me clear my debt first lol. But yeah at any rate... I just wanted to say fer-shizzle... piece out homies
