Interview
So I had my interview this morning. I thought it went rather well, although I don't know PHP per se, I did go over some of the basics the past few days...seems a lot like C++ which is very very good. Got some info about the company, benefits, what I'd be doing (expanding on their existing code base for site automation along with other development things). Although I didn't ask about pay (I always forget that), it seems like a sweet deal...especially with the full vision! Woo hoo! Should hear back next week...let's hope for a thumbs-up!
After the interview I headed into the city to see my sis. Saw her new place....freaky...you can totally tell that multiple artist-types live there (2 professional jugglers and most of a theater company!)...there were "works in progress" everywhere...along with a bunch of cool photos that one of them took...very high quality...gallery type stuff.
Spent 2 hours at Moosejaw where I got a pair of sandles which are very very very very comfy...I've never really owned a pair of sandles either, so it's very weird wearing them...but I'll get used to them :D Picked up gifts for my dad for father's day and some supplies for my sis' trip before tooling around town for a bit running miscellaneous errands. Back to DeK! Longest drive ever! Traffic really sucks (duh, I was coming out of the city at rush hour on a friday...wtf was I thinking?!?!) Met up with lindsaycb and chrisj1993 at Stanley's and came back here.
Nothing else going on tonight. Gotta work early tomorrow morning, then maybe discing with Than...who knows.
