Counting down
I have 42 weeks and 3 days until I'm on holiday in Tenerife with Steph, Andrew and, my Monkey Girl, Vikkitoria!
That's not the main thing I'm counting down to and as much as I've been trying not to wish time away I have been wanting it to be next Monday for a few weeks now! But I'm beginning to be able to wait because I've now finished at Tesco (again =D) and I'm realising it is my last week at home and so will be leaving all of my home buds!!
My last day was yesterday and so, on my first day of Tesco freedom, I went shopping! I bought a jacket, a tee shirt and two bags (yes, Debs, I know, more than what I said I wanted to buy, but you know me!)
Ooooh, have also found out how much my tax cheque is going to be! It really isn't just a fiver! It is, precisely, £459.43!!! Wootley! PC World here I come! =D
Had a BBQ round Steph and Andrew's yesterday afternoon after work. Shell, Allan, Morley, Sarah and Charlotte were there too! It's our new group. Our group (myself, Steph and Andrew) has expanded to the 8 of us!! Hehe! I love it, more people = more gossip!! It's been a good summer what with all of our nights out (bingo, clubbing, pubbing, bowling!) and the fact that I saw some of Vikki and Clodagh too, it's been a great summer!! =)
It's Rod's birthday today! I sent him an ecard, not sure if he's received or read it yet! I text him too and he replied saying he was at work today - poor bugger! But I guess it is only his 22nd - not a special one! He's getting old. I don't feel like I'm only 7 months younger than him cos I had my gap year! He seems ok if not a bit tired after his hectic(?) weekend away at Center Parcs with his rents!! Hmmm. *shrugs*
Right, the sun is shining nice and brightly here so I am going to finish up here and go out and catch some rays, my tan is well disappearing!! Meh!
