Happy Turkey Day! (a little early) (and what is up with me)
So, you guys/gals may have noticed that I've not been around much lately, and I will continue to not be still (for the next 2-3 months) because of thesis-stuff (...which has gotten put off slightly from my original timeline for this semester, but for good reasons! that will hopefully *cross fingers* actually let me graduate on time!...-ish. Yes.), but I feel guilty about it. A bit. (The fic-writing, not the thesis-writing. ...Actually, okay, no, I feel a bit guilty about the thesis-writing too. And editing. Lots and lots of editing. Dear god, the editing. I am finally attempting to learn how to -both- write and think properly. At the same time. Which is apparently an actual thing. Such is my life these days.)
So! I would like to try and make it up to you? Some of you? Who may still read my post-stuff on LJ and care? *taps microphone, then keyboard*
Thus, I am taking prompts and requests! I can and will be writing actual short!fic this holiday weekend, in-between other writing stuff -- not just because I have no life and am mostly proud of this fact(?!), but because I could use the short breaks that will keep me sane! Again. Still. Seriously: you will be contributing to my relative (in)sanity if you do so, and I shall thank you promptly. With fic. If you give me prompts.
(Sorry, my brain is (still) in a weird place right now.) *Ahem!*
In short-form:
-- Please give me Smallville writing prompts over the break (next 3-4 days) and I will try to fill them within the next 3-4 days! :)
-- If I can't fill your prompt right away, I will let you know, and they will get filled as Christmas gifts, instead.
-- If you want something that is not Smallville-fic, you can request it, but I may or may not be able to fill it, and i will let you know that promptly.
-- I can and likely will do almost anything Smallville-related except: mpreg, explicit sexy times, implied underage or 'sibling'-ish sex, and/or darkfic/torture-stuffs. (...Technically I am a little wibbly on the darkfic/no-happy-ending stuff, though, because I have written it sometimes, but it does weird things to my mood. You can request it; I may or may not do it.) If you request something that I feel squicky and weird about writing, then... congratulations! I shall add it to my no-nuh-uh-list and apologize to you! ^_^;;
-- I like to think that I do best with crack!fic, fluff, gen (except for the cursing), Clex-pairings (both brotherhood, friendship, and otherwise), and nominally other canon pairings. I do like me some evil!Lana, but I can do not!evil!Lana, too, if you really really want it. Same goes for Oliver versus evil!Oliver. (Tess, Lucas, and Lionel are high-functioning sociopaths, though. I'm adamant on that front.) I'm happy to write red-K!Clark if you're into that.
-- If you want to request a quick/small update to a particular ongoing fic, or something in one of my series/'verses, instead, I can do that too. BUT! You may end up getting stuck with a cliffhanger, depending on the state of my queue ^_^ (because short!fic)
Alternately, you can let me know what you're doing for Thanksgiving (or not), 'cause that would be kinda fun and I'd love to hear how y'all are doing lately :)
(Or you could tell me, and also request fic. That works, too ;)
