Omg I can't believe I'm on LJ; it feels like it's been 84 years. *insert Titanic meme* I was checking soshipops out of nostalgia's sake but I didn't expect anyone to have actually posted something and then I see the last entry was on 9/30 and I was like *my heart*. And then I see you posted a JeTi fic and I had to read it.
Writing something five years ago and cleaning it up and posting it now is totally something I would do. I haven't read a 9/30 fic for a while and this brings me right back. Okay so at first I thought the woman was Jessica somehow and Tiffany didn't recognize her, especially with the ice imagery, but then I was like okay no that doesn't make sense. But then her name being S, which could stand for Sooyeon, makes me hmmm.
One thing I noticed is you do 'show, not tell' really well. I still remember my high school creative writing teacher telling me to do that; I've always had trouble with that, I have a tendency to state emotions too directly, and I admire how you use actions to show them, like this part:
I did it for nostalgia's sake! Yeah, it's been quite awhile since anyone posted on soshipops. I had to.
I don't remember who I had in mind for that mystery person. lol For sure it's not Jessica. Maybe what I had in mind was Tiffany going for people who had familiar characteristics or something like that. I didn't know I had written this story until I look back on the blog recently and see the story was on private.
Thank you!! Sometimes, I feel like it isn't enough. But I trust the readers will read between the lines. It's like this weird balance of more or less thing.
I remember when we were all active on soshipops with the postings!! Miss those days. Thank you for commenting. It means quite a lot :)
