So... The car has been to Rapid Fit, an experience which end-to-end leaves a much warmer, fuzzier feeling inside than most other garages.

To make up for today's (well, technically yesterday's) poor performance with the car, life seems to have taken pity on me and given me a great evening. Much to my surprise, despite some poor planning, I managed to participate in both Plan A and Plan B.

So the car went for service today. I was expecting a few repairs so in my imaginary budget plan had allowed £600 for the experience. I was thus not pleased when Nissan wanted over £1000 for service plus repairs. That and they broke the last support on the boot grip. Not pleased.
