Punt and Dennis
With all the excitement of the shoot on Saturday, I somehow managed to miss commenting on last Friday - a trip to see Punt and Dennis being funny in High Wycombe.
I applied my usual good planning and turned up when the doors opened, scrounging for tickets. Somehow I got in; rumours of a dead body hidden in a closet are completely unfounded.
Punt and Dennis were very good though. They weren't having-trouble-breathingly funny like Craig Campbell (he who supported Rich Hall, I now know), but they did make a good show. They gave two hours, many strange mimes, some rather good "why did the chicken cross the road?" jokes, and one very good in-reference. All in all, a pretty good show.
We followed this with a visitation on the Hobgoblin, where evilbun made up for not having talked for two hours. Bless you, Bun!
Oh, and there was pizza at lunch too. All in all, a good day.
Now, if only Aylesbury was more entertaining.
