Again in class the big thing this week has been the word ANALYSIS. This means the deeper meaning of what you read. We have upgraded from poems to short stories. It was one thing to talk about what was the meaning in a poem but it is a lot harder to analyze a story. Just because there are a lot more ways you can interrupted a story. In order to really get an understanding its best to read the story at least twice and talk about it with class mates. The stories we went over in class I talked about it with the two ladies I sit next to in class I was interesting to see what they got out of reading. We had a four page paper due in class on wed. For my paper I wrote about a good man is hard to find. The one about the grandmother and her family going to Florida. At first I was going to look into how you cant change your fate if it is meant to be its going to happen, but changed my mind. In my paper I explore with the word karma. I talked about how maybe they deserved for this to happen because of all the bad things that happened to the trip to Florida. Then I looked into certain religions and people who have the same mindset as me this was defffenitaly a hard paper to write. The 8 page is coming up before we know it.
