A good man is hard to find
Time to play catch up!!! I have forgotten about these journals o no!!! Well this week in class we have been talking analyzing things such as poems. That word bring chills up my spine. I get scared every time I hear it. One thing I can say about looking at the poems and looking at the deeper meaning is the fact that it makes you think. The word analyze means you have to read the poem more than once because you are not going to get it the first time you read it trust me. So far my favorite poem has been a good man is hard to find. I was about a grandma and her family taking a unwanted trip to Florida. The grandmother warned everybody about a serial killer that was on the loose. The family didn’t think that they would run into the killer. You can tell by the way the grandmother talked that she was not only racist but just an over all negative person. As the story went on the family was killed one by one and once the grandmother identified the killer she was killed to. There were many things to learn from this short story one being if something is meant to happen to you its going to happen no matter of the precautions you take. After reading this I blamed it all on the grandmother because if she wouldn’t have brought that cat there is a chance the family would have survived.
