While I do not believe it is true, I am amused by the theory proposed that PETA has been long taken over by the likes of the Onion, MAD, or Harvard Lampoon and everything they do is now truly bizarre performance art.

When I read the headline, I thought PETA had finally given an award to Josef Mengele.

Because Sturmbannfuehrer Doktor Mengele didn't use animals for all those experiments at Auschwitz.

P.S. Most PETAns are PETAns not because they love animals, but because They Hate Humans. Veh-ry Fah-shionable these days among Brights and Beautiful People.
