we signed up for the AudioMob today and got a surprise gift... one free ticket.. the kids are excited about the event on Sunday and so are we... now to round up enough mp3 players and headphones for all of us :D

my princess came to me asking for "extra jobs" so she could earn money to buy a care bear. She's slowly discovering the joys of saving so she can spend... well, a few minutes later, she came and said "maybe I can get a iphone or ipad as well".

In my goal to have my kids be a little more physically active, we did a walk from our home in tpy to my parent's place in amk.

On the whole, the boys took the walk well... running at times, kicking stones/leaves/sticks and generally having fun. Shiyr didn't do so well. A fair bit of whining and complaining... and she *wandered* looking at grass/ ( Read more... )

Have been praying for Al in particular as he is form teacher of a Primary 2 class this year. He isn't too comfortable with kids that young. Been teaching P5 n P6 for the past few years. However, Khai asked him to be in the same session this year so he requested for P2 ( Read more... )

One thing I've realised as the years passed is that Christmas doesn't stay the same. The fun-filled atmosphere of childhood changed to the busiest time of the year as I got involved with church productions and then changed again to a time of quiet and 'adult' conversation.
