le update
Visiting Stockholm during Easter. Me, my dad and my sister went to my dad's girlfriend's summer cabin to celebrate Easter with her, her mom and the sons. I think I've written something about them before, about the fact that they're very good-looking (forbidden fruit!). Fortunately they're kind of... boring. To their credit, I haven't met them without the presence of their mom and their 94 year old grandma. Me and Jenny joked about dad only dating women for their summer cabins, because for the last 5 years his most prominent spare-time hobby is to look at summer cabins (and never buying one). He's an odd one. It runs in the family.
I saved a bunch of old books today! My mom had an impulse to throw out half of her library, which ended up being roughly 20 filled paper bags of books. Everyone in my family is reluctant to throw away books, but my mom has absolutely no ability to not act on an impulse and wait for a second-hand store to come pick them up. I saved a bunch of old copies of classics, like Gabriel Garcia Marques, August Strindberg, JD Salinger, Watership Down, Fried Green Tomatoes. etc etc. It's three bags of books that I need to get down to Linköping one day.
We're taking the older dog (Cindy) to the vet after the holidays. Both of the dogs were trimmed a few days ago by the breeder, and she found what appears to be tumours on Cindy's kidneys. Cindy has always been kind of sickly (skin issues, eye problems etc) and never a lively dog, so we don't know how much she's been affected by it so far. Since she always been so fragile I'm afraid the prognosis isn't that good. It's sad but I'm trying to not think about it until we know what it is we're dealing with.
Meeting up with friends tomorrow to have a *drumroll* Salad night. Salad as appetizer, salad as main course and salad as dessert. This is surprisingly healthy compared to our usual pizza nights.
I'm working on a digital piece again, it's become more advanced than I meant for it (I originally intended it to be more comic styled). It's along the theme of "people suck", hehe. Will post it pretty soon, stay tuned. :P
