I am in West Melbourne at the moment - feeling quite sick but impossibly far away from home. Naomi is in South Yarra, working her ass off no doubt. I'd like to be at home, which is in Frankston - 1.5 hours away.

Malcolm in the middle is funny, it was lauded as a truly great comedy back in '99 on the very cutting edge, but I have to say that it now looks and sounds rather kitsch.

I have a great set up at home but I can't help but feel that as I finish Law School it will become as obsolete as my once very cool computer and my house at Joy Street.

At age 35 I will be an associate at some law firm, with 10 years experience as... who?

There is an ad for basketball with music by Phillip Glass. That man shatters my conceptions of how deep music is supposed to make you feel. I find myself slipping into a reverie when I listen to him.

Three things that are transcendent of the gap between life and death:

Bach's Fugues, Mozart's Requiem, and Glass's Metamorphoses

These things enter my head and play around there for a while driving me to intellectual excess.
