Labour of loss (monetarily speaking)

So just today I decided to finally brave the rites of manhood and spend an exorbitant amount of money on some CDs. Squeeze's "Six Of One" box set, that is - their first six albums with all sorts of accompanying hoopla. I won't divulge the precise number, but going by Gemm and Amazon I scored an excellent deal because this motherfucker is brutally out of print (as opposed to just being out of print, like any number of later Godfathers records which can be scored anywhere for about 39 cents, true story). $250-500 worth of brutality, to be more exact. As cliche as it is (and indeed it is), Squeeze may well be my favorite band ever (I even love "Hourglass"), and yet I still have never seen any of those guys live, though I do have a "Sweets From A Stranger" LP signed "To Jonny" by Mssr. Tilbrook.

OK and I've mentioned this before numerous times, but here goes again: Thank you very much, overlords of CD reissues, for those Motors discs, but can we please now have the Bram Tchaikovsky records? They actually did have a hit, you know, not to mention the fact that they blow the Motors away. It would make an excellent gift idea!
