I finally got a chance to view the pilot during tonight's encore showing. As advertised, it's a supernatural super-hero romp that doesn't take itself too seriously and has genuinely charming and talented lead actors.
Already it's a thousand times better than 'Chuck', that strained and smarmy genre show that mistakes mugging and flailing about for "humor".
Plus, this premise could easily go on for several seasons. It's derivative, but it's tight and well-done.
