A busy start to the week

Apr 23, 2012 11:10

I've got a busy couple of days ahead of me. In addition to the usual chauffering my son to and from college, I get to take him to his X-Ray appointment this afternoon.

After I drop him off at home, I'll be galloping down Route 18 for tonight's NJAN panel/Q&A at East Brunswick Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center  East Brunswick, NJ 08816-3529

Tonight's theme is 'I've Finished my First Draft, Now What?'  Here's the panel list:
Jon Gibbs (moderator); Uta Burke; Gary Frank and Bill Mingin.

Tomorrow, I have more college chauffer duties, followed by his doctor visit, at which time we get to see how the three breaks in his leg are healing.

When that's done, I have a trip down Route 9. The Tom's River branch of the Ocean County Library has a special place in my heart (In 2010, I launched my Fur-Face eBook on a CD there, and a year later, the paperback version). I'll be giving my 10 Things Every Writer Should Know talk (though it's billed as 'Do the Write Thing'). I got an email this morning to say they already have more than 30 people registered, so it should be a fun evening.

Both events kick-off at 7pm. If you'd like to come along, I'd love to see you there.
