i never gave it much thought, but i don't recall much in the way of fog in my christmas pasts. so the lyric now really stands out to me as bizarre as i've now experienced once of the foggiest days and nights of my life (all of pittsburgh did), and on christmas eve of all days.

what it all means, i haven't the foggiest

i still have some of that christmas cheer of old, and can wish it upon you all
