I <3 Toronto. My older sister lives there, and I go there a couple times a year. It's AWESOME!

Moving to Canada is complicated; maybe not do it right out of school, but teach a couple years and then try it, and see where you are financially? There's a lot of paperwork.

If you like middle of nowhere, that's fine. I don't think it's weird. Then again, I, too, want to live somewhere with space.

Also, I think taking a break from school and trying to get out in the "real world" is good and healthy for many. Do what's right for you!

Also--

you should tell these teachers how you feel. I'm sure they would be touched and that it would mean a lot to them for you know how much they've impacted your life and learning!

Moving to Canada wouldn't be as complicated for me because my dad's a Canadian citizen, but yeah it would be tough, and something I wouldn't do just yet. I agree with all you say! And I plan to tell those teachers how I feel. :)

I feel somewhat obligated to say, "Get a Mac!" because I have one and I really love it, but the new HP laptops are really nice.

I would love one too, but it would be a big change since I've never had one, and they are uber expensive. MAAAILE HAMMINGTON

the snow is always whiter... so true so true. Its a small group that likes the North Country but those that do wouldn't have it any other way.

It's what's north of the north country that I'm wanting right now, strangely - but yes, it is a small group.

Linux seems a bit too complicated for me.
