If the people elect Palin as president, first, it vindicates the great deal of anti-system crap I have ever written, and secondly, will make me feel they deserve all the abuse and manipulation the system has put us through.

I used to think that Pat Buchanan during Nixon was a Stooge of the highest order.
But now we have Harriet Miers.

I was going to write a little bit on Gerald Ford, but then I read what bradhicks
wrote in a recent entry and although I don't agree with all of it, I don't think I can improve on his writing even one whit.

Patrick Buchanan was Richard Nixon's speechwriter from 1969-1974. In case you are too young to recall and/or your historical knowledge is fuzzy, Nixon was a very corrupt politician, venal to the max.
