(no subject)
Well, I now have a semi-permanent non-paying job. In other words, I'm volunteering at the library once a week for a couple hours each time. I will do this for sixteen weeks. Today was my first day. Let me tell you, my legs will probably be aching tomorrow from all the leg squats I had to do. Most of the time I just shelved returned movies. It's sad when I think that most of the items checked out are movies. What about books, people! It was fun to see the book sorter in the back. I know in my mind that the computer reads the code and sorts the items that way. But it was pretty cool watching the machine push books one way and CDs another and watch the levers lift them up and turn them in another direction for specific bins. I think I will enjoy this job. :D
