Good Riddance

A poem by Me. :D

Good Riddance

You blamed me for it

I put it back on you

Whose fault really was it

Likely we’ll never know what’s true.

With all your vicious anger

And my growing inner hate

We never truly had a chance

Was it an inbred common trait?

I really thought I knew you

You never ever tried

We were actually very lucky

I had never become your bride.

I had a lying mouth

You had your cheating ways

How’d we ever got together

It’s pretty much all in a haze.

Yes, I found you gorgeous

Your smile was a treat

Your touch was made of fire

Your kisses tasted cool and sweet.

We soon lost our passion

When we opened our eyes

What made us one soon ended

Drowned by our lame frequent  lies.

So good riddance, my dear

Leave me behind and beware

Of your innocent fragile victims

Like me once caught in your fiery lair.
