Senior Citizen discount!
I got the senior citizen discount at Taco Bell today. This day came much sooner that I would have expected!
While I do admit that I am indeed getting old, there is actually a different reason. My food came out to $4.04. When I handed her a twenty, she asked me if I had four cents, but I told her sorry, no. Normally, I do bring change when I go out to eat, but I was low on coins this day. They were themselves low on change, so she gave me the discount, which brought the price down to $3.64, meaning I got 36 cents change rather than 96 cents (plus the extra dollar bill, of course).
I would never have known she gave me that discount, specifically, if I weren't the type of person to say something when he thinks he's getting TOO much change back, lol.
