[ooc: 1 - just assume that Yevgeny got the word about Jon being in the hospital out :) So if your pup knows Jon, feel free to drop by
2 - I will be scarce tonight, but feel free to reply, I will get to it when I can]Jon can't really remember much of the previous day as he wakes up in the hospital. Only when the doctor does his ward round does Jon

He says hello to them both, leaning over and dropping a kiss on Jon's cheek. Yevgeny get's up and pats Remus' shoulder, they exchange hugs and cheek-kisses, and Yevgeny excuses himself to go get coffee.
"So. You look like crap, Jon. How do you feel? I brought you something. From Kirill and me."
He takes out the bouquet and taps it with his wand. It springs to full size.
"Kirill and I decided that since roses are for love, and yellow is for friendship, yellow roses must mean a friend I love to fuck, also known as the 'Fuckbuddy Flower.'"
Remus places the arrangement on the table next to the bed.
"I've spelled it to stay fresh indefinitely. But, if you decide that's unnatural just say..." Remus leans in close to Jon's ear. "'Remus doesn't love you anymore.'" He straightens up again. "Say that to it, and, like everything that hears such devastating news, it will start to die, like normal flowers."
Remus sits in the chair and crosses his legs. He's not as drunk as he had been, earlier, but he's definately not sober. He'd taken a cab here, rather than risk splinching.
"Kirill would have come with me, but he had some business stuff he couldn't get out of. So I'll have to spread the love for both of us. I'm the cuddly one, anyway, you know."

"Please, don't make me laugh?" His voice is still a little hoarse. He can smell that Remus is a little drunk and he wonders why - but he can still ask that later on in the conversation.
"Glad to know my looks match the way I feel. How are you? Kirill?"
Reply
"Kirill seems his usual sweet self. We're doing pretty good."
He avoids answering how he himself is. He doesn't want to lie, but Jon doesn't need to hear his problems.
"How long are you in for?"
Remus had spent a large part of his childhood in infirmaries. He hadn't liked it, but with his books, he stayed reasonably good-spirited.

Remus doesn't get drunk just because, Jon knows that something must be wrong. But instead of pressing him about it, Jon gives him another slightly pained grin. "I guess your beating did me in." It's obvious that he's not serious about it.

"Well, I did aim for the kidneys, but maybe I missed? If you need someone to come help you out once you're at home, please let me know. I can bring my work with me or do it after, you know?"
Remus knows Jon has Yevgeny, but maybe he works out of the house, or might need to go shopping, or something. Which strikes him as a good offer, also.
"Or if you need someone to go shopping or run errands and whatnot. It's probably best that you're not eating. If what I've heard of hospital food is true."
He'd had Hogwarts food in the infirmary, and it was good, so at least he'd never felt culinarily deprived.

Carefully, he reaches out to take Remus' hand at the offer. "Yevgeny... and Nathaniel. I have both of them. But thanks for the offer, we will certainly let you know if we need to take you up on it."
Another grin. "And I don't feel like 72 too... more like 93."

"Well, you don't look a day over 87, so I wouldn't worry over it. Seriously, you look alright. A little sickly, but it'll pass. Young healthy guy like you, you'll be begging people to whip you harder in no time, you'll see."

"I prefer to work with my hands. I'm touchy feely like that."

"Kirill is one lucky guy."

"Oh, see, you must not know me very well, yet. Once you do, you'll sit around feeling sorry for the poor sod. I'm pretty sure I'm the lucky one, in this equation."
Reply
"I think I know you well enough. What's so bad about you?"
Reply
"You're only going to be here for a week, Jon. I don't think that's enough time."

"Is it that obvious? Here I thought I was such a master of deceit..."
