Jon can't really remember much of the previous day as he wakes up in the hospital. Only when the doctor does his ward round does Jon remember what happened. Sort of.
Not that he cares much about anything but getting relief for the pain in his stomach - even breathing hurts right now and the morphine dripping into his veins is a beautiful thing. Very beautiful.
Yevgeny is there as well, holding his hand, caressing his cheeks and reading to Jon from the glossy magazines he brought, telling him all about the gossip in the world outside...
