Protect your kids from Scunthorpe! (Search engine swallowed up)
I chose my default engine Clusty because it seemed to offer a bit more on the privacy front and worked quite well on searches.
Now I find it has sold out to Yippy. Ostensibly this is aimed at youngsters and so it has an "adult filter".
Youngsters who support Scunthorpe United may do well to avoid it though. A search for this football team produces: "Portugal Old New & Undiscovered". A message at the top says is has omitted "Scunthorpe United" from the search terms because of the Adult Filter. I couldn't see any way to turn the filter off.
A search for Grapefruit goes the same way...
