Was fun and felt like an up-scaled Eastercon.

Long reviewSingle complaint:  the 1 hour 45 minute registration queue. This I'm told was caused by the lack of power sockets for the computers. This was offset by the incredibly prevalent wifi that I had to accept the T&Cs to just once in the whole 5 days. This folks is a modern public ( Read more... )

After coming to Redemption for a decade it was only this year I figured out what makes Redemption special: it is a connvention built on traditions.

Many conventions develop traditions. I recall how the literary Unicons used to always have a comics panel. But Redemption is full of them:

Wow, so much to say! To avoid a chronological description I think I'll stick to bullet points:
