Thursday was Beau's homecoming show. Went and hung out, had a loooooooot of fun. I gave him a scarf I bought to tide him over 'til I fixed the one I made him. He invited me out to eat with his friends after, which was cool.
Yesterday I went to the Bridge, and he gave me MAPS!!!!!! So many maps!! I half-jokingly asked him to grab maps at rest stops if he thought of it, 'cause I like maps and am covering the walls in the back room with them. I saw him right before I read a "team-piece" with my lovely friend Emily, and he handed me a pile of stuff and said it was all for me, from all over the world, haha. I really didn't think he would. Then he was all stoked about his scarf, and I finally got one of his chapbooks!! He saved a colored one for me, and he signed it all cute like. Then we hung out at Mark & Emily's with the gang for a few hours, it was so fun!
Buuuuut, my conclusion is that things aren't gonna happen with him. Not right now, at the least. It's not me wussing out, truuuuust me, but it's just not the time for it. He's absolutely still as good of a friend as he was before he left, if not closer, but....that's all. I'm happy with it though, means he'll be around longer, haha.
In other news, there a fucking macaroni & cheese restaurant in Hooksett, and my friends Tyler & Allison and an awesome new friend named Kevin are taking me there this afternoon, and then we have a movie date. Should be a blast! =D!
