OMG, how great was that ep??
I loved every minute of it and almost p****d myself laughing so many times! The HP references, Back to the Future, the Shakespeare quotes etc. Well done Gareth Roberts, fantastic script! And am loving the Doctor and MArtha so far, David is on top form, better than ever and Freema is such a nice change from Billie, all the giggling and silliness gone. Also, am enjoying the slightly darker tone and from what I've heard, thats going to continue.
The bed scene was good too. I hope they don't keep on with the Rose references all the way through the series or that will soon get a bit dull. I can understand why he hasn't got over her immediatly, big love and all that. It's just that I have so moved on and would appreciate it if the show did too. I liked the second mention of her though, with the carrionite trying to use her name against him, nicely done.
Maybe the witches were OTT but that didn't change how fun it all was so I'm not to bothered about that.
All in all, one of my fave eps ever .. 4.5/5.
