SO, what did you think? Overall, I was really impressed.. I thought it was a great opener..
Doctor - Just like TRB, another really strong performance from David. Still rude but slightly less manic and I did enjoy the whole radiation thing. Loved the "Is it?" response to the latest Bigger on the Inside comment. I think David has got the character spot on now - Ten is gonna get really interesting methinks. And "I love my sonic screwdriver" - lol!!
Martha - Perfect, loved Freema.. very different from Rose. Great chemistry with David.. sorry Billie but I don't think I'm gonna miss you much..
Story - Plasmavore, yeah ok. Nice performances from Freema, David and Anne Reid made all of that less silly. Also nice to see ten in genuine danger for a change - and weak too.. change from last series there.
Monsters - the Judoon were very cool. Great dialogue and nice twist that they were good guys and eventually saved the hospital. Stig was great!
Verdict - 4/5 Great series opener. Welcome back Doctor Who! Bring on Shakespeare!
