A pretty good weekend for football at our place all up I suppose. The boi's team won 3-0 and I got to watch sitting in the sun on Saturday.
Spurs managed not to actually lose to Stoke, although their defenders tried pretty hard. Luckily Crouch was amazing with his head in the box both on attack and defence. Of course being about 9 feet tall doesn't hurt .
The boi was also happy as Liverpool managed not to lose to anyone ridiculous this weekend.
My women's team didn't come out with a win playing on Sunday, another 1-0 loss to add to last week's. Just can't actually score to save ourselves at the moment. Hmmm, I wonder if we can take the moral high ground from the fact that the opposition goals were caused by our own ridiculous mistakes rather than any amazing play by the competition.
Nope. Gotta take your points where you can get them, and well we just didn't.
Good game though, apart from one brain fart, we played really well, stringing a lot of good passes together and using the space. Next week!
