Black Widow
I didn't know much about her from the comics beyond the fact that she was a Russian assassin that defected to SHIELD, and that she and Hawkeye had been together at some point - I had only ever seen her briefly here and there.
But now that I've seen her in the films, I absolutely *love* her. The woman has no powers whatsoever and yet can kick ass better than Captain America; she is of a Pepper Potts-level of awesomeness when it comes to being unimpressed by Tony Stark; and her closeness with Hawkeye just makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
