I'm late, I know, but I wanted to say something about Thamiris.
I never actually commented on her lj, or on one of her stories, so I almost feel like I don't have the right to write this--but she had an impact on me, and on the way I think about writing. When I first started reading SV fic (god-four years ago? five?), Thamiris was one of my favorite authors, and I still love all her stories. I ripped through everything she wrote and waited for more (even finding a new entry on lj was a kind of treat). She was one of the first people I friended, and I was so thrilled when she friended me back. It's hard to believe she's never going to write anything else. I'm going to miss her, and I know there must be a lot of other lurkers out there who feel the same way.
