Once upon a time, in 2002, Paul and Joe DeGeorge played their first show billed as "Harry and the Potters" in their backyard, kick-starting the Wizard Rock Movement (oh yes, I called it a Movement).  BUT, two years before that, the indie band Switchblade Kitten wrote their first Harry Potter themed song under the name The Weird Sisters, from Ginny'

The Ministry of Magic is possibly my favorite wizard rock band ever. I dunno, it's a close race among them, the Whomping Willows, Draco and the Malfoys, and The Weasel King. They're all so amazing. :D

So apparently my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend used to date Paul as in YOUR ex Paul.

She's not from Myrtle Beach (OR Columbia) which makes the coincidence all weird. Conversations get pretty awkward.
