I know you guys are getting tired of me complaining and being depressed and all that, and so am I.  I am getting really sick of feeling like this all the time.  I just want to turn my brain off for a while

Aww, Erin. I wish you didn't feel so horribly. If it's any consolation (which it probably won't be) I have been dealing with some severe mental issues for the past year. I really did believe I had gone off the deep end; I was having horrible thoughts that I didn't really choose to have and I couldn't understand where they came from. That took a serious toll on my self-esteem, and now I'm at the point where I HAVE to say to myself, "Whatever you think and whatever you are and whatever you look like- it's okay." Because I think if you can't love yourself you're going to ask the world to, and the world can't because it's too busy loving itself or asking everyone else to as well- and you will be unhappy until you learn to love yourself. I guess. Anyway I think you're increadibly beautiful and intelligent and worth everything you want. I'm a good listener if you want to talk. If not, I can make a fool of myself and perhaps that will make you smile.

Also, I'm really trying to get in shape, eat really well, and take self-defense classes (Actually, with all that's going on in my head constantly exercise is pleasant escape.) because I'm planning on hitchhiking as much as possible this summer. If you aren't sure what you want to do and want to rough it with me, you're more than welcome.
