Pet peeve mumero uno. You are NOT just a babysitter.

I HATED when people would call me a babysitter. NANNY. It's different. Even if I'm watching your kids for 3 hours on a one time gig. And, yes, I will be paid appropriately, because there is a reason you liked me more than the 16 year old that will drink your vodka and replace it with water, invite her BFF and boyfriend over to sit on your couch and eat your doritos once your kids are asleep - if you are lucky.

ugh, yeah I cannot stand this either. I was just looking for a new job in Boston and people will SCAM you! Like I haven't been nannying for 5 years. I know what the going rate is for someone with my experience! Also, if you're in the Albany area, I am leaving a job that pays decent and the kids are adorable!

Oh! If you're looking for a job in Boston, go through the Boston nanny centre!! Www.bostonnannycentre.com, I think. Thy will hook u up w loads of interviews, and will get u a decent job w benefits (insurance, paid days off, etc). That's the nanny agency I went through when I was living in Boston. They're wonderful!! Oh, & its free for nannies!
